How the job runs

What to expect, start to finish.

  1. Walk the plans

Ewan looks at the plans, the block and the other trades on the job, then writes a quote that spells out what is covered.

  2. On the tools

Frame, posts, openings and roof carpentry run in sequence with the house, not left to the end.

  3. Fit-off and walk-through

Jambs, architraves and doors go in, then you walk the work with Ewan before it is called done.

Common questions

Do you work on farmhouse and rural builds?

Yes. Recent work includes a farmhouse project and architraves on a new build in Pokolbin, with a new build now underway in East Maitland.

Can the deck go in as part of the build?

Yes. A deck or outdoor room built with the house sits with the roof line and floor levels, rather than being added on later. Ewan will talk it through when he looks at the plans.
